"This is a documentary made by Drew Rouse about his journey to a remote region of B.C. to ride in the Tsilqot'in First Nations wild horse Mountain Race. Chief Roger William of the Xeni Gwet'in of the Tsilhqot'in First Nation was Drew's host and they have become life long friends. This is a documentary about pristine land, wild animals, ancient forests and a people and their culture that is under attack. The wild horses of this region, the Chilcotin region of B.C., are being pushed off the land and now a toxic gold mine (the prosperity mine) is trying to move in and destroy a sacred lake called Tetzan Biny or Fish Lake. Drew shot this documentary in 2005 on a shoe string budget with a small hand-held camera and mostly from the saddle:) Please help to preserve what is left of our wild places. Help STOP the Fish Lake mine (the prosperity gold mine) in B.C. and preserve our wild horses and other wild animals, our last remaining pristine forests and First Nation culture. Love & Respect!"
